From 3:00 to 4:00 we will hold our state business meeting including elections! If you are a member and are interested in holding an office on the state board, please contact Larry Grewelle at cheeriob@netscape.com. The State Board consists of the President, Action VP, Administrative VP, Secretary and Treasurer. For more information on the duties of each office, please check back on our website www.alabamanow.org, where we will be posting the job descriptions.
Registration: There is no fee to attend the conference, but you will need to register and
let us know if you would like lunch provided for you. name, address, and whether you would like to have lunch. A box lunch will be provided by AL NOW. If you would like a vegetarian option, please note that in your email. Of course, donations to help defray the cost of the conference are always welcome!
On site registration will take place Saturday morning from 8:00 to 9:00 a.m.
Hotel Information: For those of you who are coming into town Friday night, The Days Inn, 2625 Zelda Road is holding reservations for 10 rooms Friday the 3rd at $55.69 for a single room, $60.75 for a double, for AL NOW Conference attendees. To reserve a room, call the hotel by September 29th at 334-269-9611 and make sure to tell them you are with AL NOW, conference number #P57025-00 . Rates are $55.69 for a single and $60.75 for a double (rates include tax). The hotel is off of exit 3 on I-85.
