Alabama NOW State Conference – September 18

Ken Baker Center

Theme:  Writing WOMEN Back into ALABAMA history.

Guest Speakers:

	Mary Ann Neely, a historian, preservationist, author, and former educator.  She earned a degree in history at Huntingdon College before becoming a director of the Landmarks Foundation, which oversees Old Alabama Town.
	Tafeni English, Founder and Executive Director of Eve's Circle, Inc.  Eve's Circle is devoted to improving the quality of life and the prospects of teenaged women through mentoring, counseling, and tutoring.
	Amanda P. Hodge, Manager of Marketing and Membership, Auburn Alumni Association.  Amanda is passionate about starting a Family Law Committee in Alabama.
	Bill Mathews, Executive Secretary, Alabama Women's Hall of Fame and Vice President and General Counsel, Judson College.  The Hall of Fame, on the campus of Judson College, began in 1970 to honor the lives of outstanding women from the state of Alabama.

Schedule:

Registration 8:15 - 9:15 a.m.  (No pre-registration; $10 fee includes lunch)

Conference 9:30 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.

We have a Diaper Bank to serve the needs of low-income families with

babies and small children in diapers.  Medicaid does not cover diapers!
